1. To carry on all or any of the business of general merchants and traders, manufacturers, assemblers, distributors, importers, exporters, factors and shippers of and wholesale and retail dealers in goods, wares, produce, products, commodities, handicrafts and merchandise of every description, to act as agents for and to enter into agreements and arrangements of all kinds on behalf of such persons, firms of companies as may be thought expedient.

2. To deal in any commodities, substances, articles, merchandise, goods, and things whether solid or liquid or gaseous, as agents, commission agents, forwarding agents, clearing agents, distributors, warehousemen, licensees, merchants, traders, sales organisers, representatives of manufacturers of commodities, goods articles, materials and things and for that purpose to buy, to sell exchange, market, pledge, distribute, install, service, maintain, or otherwise deals in commodities, goods articles and things and to carry on the agency business.

3. To undertake the business as general traders and merchants, and buy,  sell, export, import, deal in commodities, goods, things, contracts of all  types, to deal in any commodity market, commodity exchange, spot exchange, for itself or for others, transaction in the nature of hedging,  spot trading, forward commodity contracts, rate swaps, commodity  future/swaps, commodity options, futures and options and in derivatives of all the commodities, whether for the purpose of trading, investment, hedging, arbitrage, or any other purpose, whether in India or abroad and to undertake the activity of warehousing and processing as may be required for the aforesaid purpose(s).
